Syllabus: | The mining industry has responsibility for rehabilitation of mined sites, and also exercises stewardship over the natural resources of pastoral leases obtained for mining purposes. Environmental engineers need to understand the ecology of arid land ecosystems in order to implement ecologically viable rehabilitation and to manage for ecologically healthy landscapes. This unit aims to give you basic principles for achieving sustainable results. |
