| Syllabus: | Physical, mental state and risk assessment data collection, documentation and interpretation of data in simulated and actual clinical settings. Apply therapeutic communication in selected clinical contexts. Utilise Australian and International health data to review and evaluate contemporary health issues and determine strategies for promotion of wellness across the lifespan in individual, family, and community contexts. Provide aspects of basic first aid and support client conditions in the community and pre hospital context. Introduction to medication mathematics and pharmaceutical principles. Introduction to principles of manual handling, principles of infection control and standard precautions. |
