Syllabus: | Plant shutdown: identify maintenance project and plant requirements; identify tasks, timelines and resources; develop a schedule; communicate with all relevant stakeholders and monitor shutdown. Monitor and maintain cathodic protection systems: prepareand organise operational and maintenance activities; monitor and adjust electrical equipment; conduct CP system surveys; recommission the system; analyse and utilise CP data; control hazards and respond to problems. Commission/recommission plant: contribute to the design of plant/equipment; take part in commission planning; participate in acceptance of plant equipment; commission system, evaluate results and identify modifications. Decommission plant: contribute to decommission planning; isolate and decontaminate equipment/units and inspect, test and notify completion of work. |
