Syllabus: | Choice of CT, US, MRI, breast imaging, signal processing, paediatrics or imaging informatics. Each field (except imaging informatics) will cover the following: indications and contraindications, basic instrumentation, an overview of some of the common examinations as well as future directions of the chosen field. For the imaging informatics choice the student is expected to develop a deeper understanding of the functions, management and roles of imaging informatics processes. Placement time will be arranged to allow those taking this elective to work within either a clinical or commercial imaging informatics situation. |
