This tour will sensitise participants to the need to develop these skills and become a more valuable and more adaptable human resource in an increasingly interdependent world. The following themes in the context of the tour will be studied in depth: sustainability, political economy, and leadership. Countries that have previously been included in these tours are: Indonesia, India, Myanmar (Burma), Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China (including Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea and the Philippines. The study tour runs twice each year (for a minimum of three weeks) prior to the beginning of first semester, and immediately following the examination period in second semester. |
