Syllabus: | Introduction to problem-based learning. Analysis, design and physical implementation of a mechatronic system. Topics inlcude: the design, analysis and construction of linear and pulse-width modulated voltage control circuits using analogue and digital components. Drawing and analysis of schematic and layout diagrams. Develop, reinforce and apply feedback concepts. Implement and test data communication and computer input/output mechanisms. Introduction to the principles of top-down software design. |
