Syllabus: | Feedforward and ratio control, cascade control, override control and selective control. Advanced control techniques: deadtime compensation, inferential control and adaptive control. Multi-input and output systems: process and control loop interactions, control loop pairings, decoupling control systems and multivariable control techniques. Digital control systems: Z- transforms, discrete time models, closed loop analysis and digital control system implementation. |
