Introduction
This course has been developed to enable students who have already completed an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than screen studies, creative writing or performance studies and who intend to study or pursue a career in one of these fields, to undertake a professional course with a high level of specialisation in both practical skills and critical understanding. It is designed to allow students to achieve the essential practical, critical and creative skills that enable progression into creative production industries or a related career. Streams within the course enable students to focus their studies into the areas of screen studies, creative writing, and performance studies .
Course Entry Requirments/Prequisites
An undergraduate degree from a discipline other than film and television, creative writing or performance studies.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
