Syllabus: | The unit begins with an introduction to a range of cleaner production research methods. The student uses these methods and knowledge gained in other coursework units, and discuss with the supervisor a plan for a project that practicably implements cleaner production techniques and methods, preferably linked to the student's place of employment in industry, public authority or other organisation. After successful completion, the student will have designed a research instrument investigating a designated aspect of the implementation of cleaner production, eco-efficiency and/or the broader business agenda for sustainable development. Assessment is based on assignments, the submission and defence of a research proposal and presentation of progress report on the completed literature review. |
