| Syllabus: | Structure of mechatronic systems; Sensors and actuators; Embedded microcontroller programming, compiling, simulation and download; Binary and bitwise programming; Timers and interrupts; Darlington drivers; Protection diodes; H-bridge design; Voltage regulated power supply design; Servomotor control; Stepper motor control; PWM control of DC motors; Analog-to-Digital converters; Keypads and LCD displays; Students will work in teams to program and build a functional controller for a mobile robot to be used in a competition. |
