Syllabus: | This unit equips students to work in a radio newsroom environment performing a range of tasks in the development of complex radio news stories. Students will undertake intensive tuition in digital recording, editing and production using industry standardequipment, ensuring they are able to react to the demands of the modern news environment. The unit will encourage students to develop critical thinking skills and establish professional practices within journalism's ethical and legal parameters, while working both independently and collaboratively within a news team. |
