Syllabus: | A practical engagement with the ideas of contemporary art. Technical and conceptual development through skills acquisition and idea articulation. Traditional and contemporary skills and concepts from a wide range of visual arts media. Students will undertake a number of staff initiated projects/ specialisations within the visual arts which include, but are not limited to, two of the following disciplines: fibre/ textiles, ceramics, painting, print media, sculpture, jewellery/3D design, electronic arts, audio visual installation and performance photography, and material culture. |
