Syllabus: | This unit focuses on systems thinking in a futures context. As a methodology soft systems thinking can be applied to a range of circumstances and this unit gives students a theoretical background as well as the opportunity for practical application to a project of their choice. With the objective of bringing about agreement as a way forward out of a problematic situation students will be instructed in a set of techniques that lead to learning more about a situation through using conceptual thinking, modelling and discussion. |
