Introduction
This multidisciplinary course provides specialised advanced training for graduates or occupational health and safety practitioners with an emphasis on risk and safety management and occupational injury and disease prevention. It allows for a degree of additional specialisation according to individual needs and upon successful completion provides entry into the Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Course Entry Requirements/
A bachelor degree in an appropriate field from a recognised tertiary education institution with at least two years' work experience. Applicants with other OHS qualifications and relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Specific Requirements
Regular access to a computer and the internet will be required to undertake all units.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is one semester full-time study or equivalent part-time study and conducted on a fully online basis.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
Further Information
Although fully online, assessments for some units may require sitting a final exam at a nominated venue approved by the University.
