| Syllabus: | This is an international study tour and allows students to compare the Australia taxation system with those of other countries. Over approx. 30 days students will visit a number of countries and visit a number of international taxation organisations including government taxation agencies, as well as various professional organisations and world-renown taxation bodies such as the OECD, IBFD. The tour also encompasses students visiting universities in the countries that are visited and meeting other students and lecturers to discuss world taxation issues The aim of the study tour is that students will immerse themselves in learning to understand and appreciate the roles of everyone involved in the International Taxation System. As well the study tour will allow students to research the background of business practices study tour location; eg., cultural, religious, economic, political, historical and geographical. |
