| Syllabus: | This unit builds on foundational knowledge and provides students with an opportunity to develop a rigorous knowledge in a variety of advanced Chemistry topics: Organic Chemistry; macromolecules; enzymes; acids and bases; rate of reactions. The role of functional groups in Organic chemistry and their effect on reactivity will be highlighted. A significant lab component will help students to understand and apply the different concepts of titrations and processes of advanced chemistry. |
