Course Overview
Bachelor Degrees prepare students to develop broad and coherent knowledge and skills in a discipline for professional work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 7 qualifications.
This course offers students the opportunity to focus on Creative Arts as practice and discipline. This course provides the broad based contemporary understanding of theory and practice to the study of Theatre Arts, Screen Arts and Fine Art. You will study key Professional and critical skills in a selected major discipline with the option to select a minor discipline or choose elective units from throughout the university. The first year of the course enables students to choose foundation units suitable to Creative Arts practice and begin study in their chosen major discipline.

Course Organisation

Course Learning Outcomes
A graduate of this course can:
1. demonstrate understanding of the broad discipline of Creative Arts, the theoretical underpinnings and ways of thinking. Apply specific discipline knowledge and technical skills to the production of creative work
2. apply creative arts methods, experimentation critical thinking and entrepreneurial strategies in creative disciplines
3. communicate information and ideas effectively applying appropriate existing and emerging technologies within Creative Arts disciplines
4. understand, respond and engage with global perspectives in Creative Arts: demonstrate relevant ethical and sustainable responsibilities of creative practice activities
5. acknowledge, respect and support the values and knowledge of local indigenous and global cultures and the relevant bearing on Creative Arts production
6. demonstrate professional and career capable conduct, work collaboratively and individually within the Creative Arts Industry
