Syllabus: | Strategic communication from a consultancy perspective, focusing on topics such as public relations strategy, planning and research, account management and business development, time and project management, as well as sponsorship, creativity, events management, ethics and professionalism. Also included are client services, negotiation and presentation skills in the context of pitches and client presentations. The key distinguishing feature of the unit is the involvement of a real life client throughout the semester. There is a strong focus on the contribution consultants make to the overall strategic objectives of their clients. |
