Low carbon infrastructure and housing design options are analysed and discussed in relation to both remote communities and urban development. A basic introduction to carbon accounting is provided and applied at a local government level. Governance approaches to decarbonising cities are examined through international case studies demonstrating best practice. Focusing on the End-User, this unit will provide students with skills and knowledge in decarbonising the economy, through their own households and local communities. |
