Syllabus: | 470 hours clinical placement; Reflective practice and further development of professional, collaborative and communication skills. Evidence informed knowledge and skills for complex midwifery practice, including the care of babies with special needs. Scientific technologies applicable to complex maternity care. Cultural competence in clinical practice. The National Competency Standards for the Midwife inform the scope of this unit. |
