Syllabus: | The fundamental concepts of business and economics will first be introduced followed by an overview of international business topics as well as ethical issues related to business. In addition, the various forms of business ownership, business organization and the nature of management will be covered. The unit will also cover the basic concepts and theories in functional activities of a business including operations management, human resources management, marketing, accounting, information management and finance. |
