Syllabus: | Use a systems approach to assess, diagnose, manage, document and evaluate care related to specialised health care needs of patients/families. Apply therapeutic communication and meet nursing competency standards in selected clinical contexts. Medication dosage calculations. Wound and burns care. Stroke, potential lethal arrythmias. Integrated care of the unconscious, spinal and multi trauma patient. Management of invasive therapy and monitoring. End of life care and last offices. Peer teaching and skill demonstration. |
