Syllabus: | The nurse's role within the health care team in primary and acute care settings. Problem solving and clinical decision making in nursing: nursing process; assessment; planning; implementation; evaluation; discharge planning and documentation. Scope of practice decision making framework. Using best practice to plan and implement nursing care within clinical contexts. Client-centred care including chronic condition self-management. Collaborating with the interprofessional health care team. Integrated health care including mental health. |
