Syllabus: | Introduction, core recovery handling and preservation procedures, routine and special core analysis, porosity, permeability, fluid saturation, relative permeability, electrical properties of rocks, acoustic properties of rocks, mechanical properties of rocks, capillary pressure, wettability, clays and their influence on rock properties, pore network modelling, hydraulic unit zonation and flow zone indicator, effect of stress on core data, porosity-permeability-stress relationship, naturally fractured reservoirs, rock properties from log analysis, combining core and log data for reservoir characterization, expert system applications in petrophysics. |
