Syllabus: | Normal development of the nervous system’s structure and function. Somatosensory, autonomic and peripheral nervous systems. Motor systems and their role in controlling posture and coordinated movement. Role and integration of reflexes in relation to normal motor development. Role and integration of reflexes and reactions in relation to normal development. Development of cognition, perception, visual motor integration and language. Developmental checklists and screening tools. |
