Syllabus (HB): | This unit provides opportunities for students to develop primary literacy intervention programs based on the understanding that all children should have equal access to effective literacy skills. It includes investigation of successful national and international literacy intervention and the development and implementation of a range of diagnostic assessments and intervention strategies to meet the needs of individual students who are not demonstrating successful literacy development in the mainstream classroom. There is a focus on the complexities of literacy learning and teaching. |
