| Syllabus: | Introduces basic concepts in geology, mineralogy, simple rock types and geological processes. The latter encompasses Earth structure, geological time, stratigraphy, deformation of rocks, the geological cycle and plate tectonics. Other topics include weathering, erosion, soil formation and the development of landforms. |
