Syllabus: | This unit combines theoretical and practical elements working through the stages of research, the initial formulation of research questions from a general area of interest, determining the parameters of research inquiry, decisions about theoretical frameworks, contextual and empirical literature reviews, methods of data collection, forms of analysis and interpretation, and oral and written reporting of research. Students following the creative arts pathway are introduced to the manner in which research and creative work relate to each other. |
