Syllabus: | Introduction to power quality, harmonic modelling of power system and components, and harmonic mitigation techniques. Introduction to supply only, turn key, performance guaranteed, services and maintenance contracts. Conditions of contracts including terms of payment, quality assurances, retention conditions, security money and quality assurances. Introduction to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition (SCADA) including their applications, design and programming in the Electrical Utility industry. |
