Syllabus: | Descriptive statistics, probability distributions, concepts of hypothesis testing, estimation and confidence intervals. Nonparametric methods. Multivariate analyses including two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), simple and multiple linear regression and repeated measures. Use of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software to create, edit and analyse health research data. |
