Syllabus: | Further develops students' communicative competence in the Chinese language over a wider range of situations. Conversation, readings, discussions and report writing will be conducted on topics in relation to contemporary Chinese society and culture. The cultural significance of language usage will be examined, together with systematic discussion of appropriate manners and social etiquette to enable effective communication with Chinese speakers. |
