Introduction
Facilities management oversees the physical infrastructure and associated services within organisations to support and enhance core business processes in the achievement of organisational goals. The complexity of an organisation's physical infrastructure and the diversity of users demand formal, comprehensive, strategic and technical management. This course provides the skills, knowledge and techniques applicable to facilities management processes.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
Students would normally hold a degree from a recognised tertiary institution and three years relevant work experience or a minimum of five years relevant management experience. Entry is subject to approval by the Course Controller.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is one year part-time with all units conducted in the evening.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
