Introduction

Designed for professionals wanting to expand on their previous academic or professional background and become members of the Australian Property Institute (API). A non-accredited route is available for those seeking a Master of Property but do not meet the requirements of the API.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisties

A bachelor degree in a discipline other than property studies from a recognised tertiary institution. An undergraduate degree is essential for API endorsement. A non-accredited route is available for those without an undergraduate degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This course is three years taught only on a part-time basis. The course is not available to international students.

Intermediate Awards

A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Property and Graduate Diploma in Property may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School. For further definition refer to the Statement and Awards section under General Information.

Graduate Certificate in Property; Graduate Diploma in Property.

Professional Recognition

Academic qualification for Australian Property Institute (API). The accredited route of this course is endorsed by the API for Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) status after completing the further requirements of the API.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks and other essential study materials including a financial calculator.
