Syllabus: | An introduction to software engineering project management using the personal and team software processes. Emphasis is placed on record keeping and analysing of historical data to produce effective project plans based on reasonable estimates. Setting measurable goals for assessing personal contribution to group-based software development activities and determining project status. Adhering to commitments and schedules using an earned-value approach to project management. An examination of the roles of theteam leader, planning manager, development manager, quality process manager and the support manager in effective software project management. |
