Syllabus: Information access and electronic research tools. Graphical and spatial representation of geological data and associated problem solving techniques. Use of a personal computer, word processors and spreadsheets to analyse, report and plot data. Readingand evaluating texts, summarising and paraphrasing, referencing skills, written communication and oral presentation in academic and professional contexts. Reflective, critical and evaluative thinking and teamwork skills and practices that lead to successful collaboration.
