Syllabus: This unit provides a practical introduction to the editing and publishing of fiction and non fiction texts. It covers a range of topics including structural and copy editing, online and hard copy editing, manuscript assessments, and the write-reditor relationship. Students will undertake practical work on a range of texts as well as developing skills in self-editing.
