This major must be combined with the Accounting major. It is designed for students intending to become professional accountants. It provides a comprehensive understanding of, and competency in, the use of technology in accounting and related areas. Graduates gain employment in professional accounting practices, commerce, industry, and the government. When combined with the Accounting major it is recognised as being acceptable for Associate membership of CPA Australia, and the National Institute of Accountants and entry to the ICAA graduate program.
