Syllabus: Theoretical frameworks underpinning individual and group counselling practice. Application of individual and group counselling competencies with a diverse range of clients and contexts, including cultural diversity. Person-centered, activity-based and cognitive-behavioural approaches. Principles and application of self-management, psychoeducation, mental health promotion. Facilitation of personal development, and change. Principles of group process and programme development. Evaluation, evidence-based practice and ethical and professional behaviours.
