Syllabus: | This unit examines contemporary theory and practice in anthropology. It will do so through a survey of several anthropological research projects in order to develop a reflexive awareness of contemporary anthropology practices. The particular research projects examined in this unit will be used to explore contemporary theory and research methods in anthropology. The particular research projects used to focus this unit will change from year to year. Projects will include examples of both pure and applied research. |
