Syllabus: Theoretical bases of strategies for teaching in early childhood education. A focus will be on exploration in creating an informal learning environment and developing classroom management techniques for the holistic development of the child. A focus will be on the learner and catering for individual needs. These skills will be practised during a three-week block field experience where planning, management, teaching, personal and interpersonal skills will be required.
