Syllabus: Introduces and develops the 'mission model' for creating competitive advantage. The model provides a framework for stimulating strategic thinking and building a culture that not only connects and motivates people around shared values but also focuses them upon common objectives. Key topics include the mission model of strategic management, the mission statement, industry analysis, the strategic goal, strategic positioning, implementation, organisational development, nirvana and case studies.
