Syllabus: Overview of international health, patterns of disease and health in developed and developing countries, resurgent and emergent diseases, and the health impact of globalisation. The background and context of primary health care, health program policy, health and development, the sociocultural context of health and illness, the economics of health care, and health, community development and community participation. Common and major health problems, family planning and reproductive health.
