Syllabus: Development of the cognitive, social, psychological, emotional, physical and motor, moral, and gender domains are addressed in early childhood, primary age, and adolescence. Examination of the effect of the environment on early development and social development of adolescents constitute a specific focus. Development is presented as a continuum in which a range of changes are expected in correspondence with an age group. Asynchronous development will be addressed. The relationship between development and education is highlighted.
