Lecture: 2 x 3 Hours Weekly
Syllabus: Development of a conceptual understanding and foundation of the theory and practice of economics and law. Economics: opportunity cost, production possibility trade-off, economics systems and the government's role, markets in action, price determination, the circular flow of goods and money, demand and supply, money and banking. Law: concepts and sources of laws, role of parliament, the legislative process, contracts, torts of negligence, property law, minor and family law.
