Syllabus: Provides an overview of financial decision making in a corporate context. The role and function of the capital market in Australia. Financial statement analysis, lease financing and the management of inventory, cash and account receivables. Basic financial concepts e.g. the time value of money, risk and return. Management of current assets: cash, accounts receivables, and inventories.
