Syllabus: Teaches financial economics as applied to individual firms. Emphasises skills necessary for chief financial managers to make financing and investment decisions. Provides a systematic and rigorous treatment of controveresial issues such as capital optimalstructure, dividend payouts, agency costs, mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
