Syllabus: The delivered lecture and tutorial material provide a systematic development of the theory that underpins and facilitates the characterisation of random phenomena. The course topics include probability theory, random variable theory, expectation moments,functions of a random variable, multiple random variables, stochastic process theory, correlation functions, power spectral density and stochastic processes in linear systems.
