Syllabus: Development of the foundation competencies in understanding human development and cardiopulmonary and exercise physiology. Topics on human development include physical, cognitive and social development in children, adolescence, adulthood, ageing and dying. Topics on physiology include pathophysiology and clinical features of pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, muscle strength and endurance measurement, exercise program development and evaluation.
