Syllabus: The project is to include the surveying of a mine lease: shaft plumbing, underground check bearing using the gyro-theodolite, EDM traversing, stope survey and levelling. The presented work will also include plans, sections and calculations associated with the above survey. Attendance of a project seminar is required.
