This unit is for individuals of outstanding ability and professional motivation with a passion for understanding art in a world of rapid cultural and technological change. It aims to enhance the skills and depth of understanding of electronic art through discussion, reflection and the production of original innovative research in this area. Understanding of projects that lead to a deeper comprehension of a specialism which offers the potential for contextualising current emerging technologies and new applications. Importantly, the course encourages professional and personal development through investigative learning that is relevant and transferable to the research outcomes.
